 A Father's Quest to Honor his Son

TAPS Blog | Today on the TAPS Blog, surviving father Bob Bagosy speaks about his quest to honor his son. Three years after Tommy's death, Bob received word that his son would be awarded the Purple Heart posthumously from an IED blast Tommy had be injured in when he was in Iraq. Bob writes, "It (the Purple Heart) will show Tommy's bravery for the silent wounds he suffered during combat, and perhaps his story will help other silent wounded Marines not to give up, not to ever give up."
