Wildcat Nation, Stand With Us to Support TAPS
For the past four years, Davidson College has supported veterans and their families through the Hometown Hero Game. This year, Davidson Football is partnering with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) to honor and support Gold Star Families whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.
As we approach Davidson's Hometown Hero Game this Saturday, October 19, we invite Wildcat Nation to stand with us in supporting these families. All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the TAPS mission — to provide comfort, care, and resources to all those grieving the loss of someone from the military and veteran community. TAPS ensures that no one walks alone in grief by offering peer-based emotional support, casework assistance, and resources at no cost.
