Bradley Jacobs
Brad Jacobs is Senior Vice President of Finance, for BAE Systems, Inc. responsible for financial accountability for the company’s U.S.- based operating groups, which collectively employs 52,000 employees in the U.S., U.K., Sweden, Israel, Germany, Mexico, Switzerland and South Africa, and generated 2009 sales of 19.4 billion.
Jacobs joined the BAE Systems, Inc. Finance team in September 2007, and in his recent role he provided financial leadership and support for mergers and acquisitions, as well as oversight and integration support to recent acquisitions.
Prior to joining the BAE Systems headquarters staff, Jacobs served as Vice President of Finance for the former Electronics & Integrated Solutions Operating Group of BAE Systems. Jacobs previously served as vice present of Finance for BAE Systems’ Information and Electronics Systems Integration Sector.
Jacobs originally joined BAE Systems as Vice President of Business Management in November 2002 through the acquisition of Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company. Before coming to BAE Systems, Jacobs was the Business Management Director for Fire Control Systems at the Lockheed Martin Electronics and Missiles Company in Orlando, Fla. He also led Cost Management for the Lockheed Martin Electronics Section in Bethesda, MD., where he was responsible for integrating financial practices from former General Electric, Martin Marietta and Lockheed business units.
Jacobs received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in industrial administration from Purdue University.
